A participation rate on its own doesn't tell you what to do next. Participation Digest shows how one survey is collecting responses - who's responded, how momentum is trending, which reminders landed, and what to try next - all on a single page.
A participation rate on its own doesn't tell you what to do next. Participation Digest shows how one survey is collecting responses - who's responded, how momentum is trending, which reminders landed, and what to try next - all on a single page.
Participation Digest is available to your organization's Super Admin. Contact your Success Manager to have it enabled for your account.
Participation Digest has its own entry in your sidebar, under Analyse. Opening it drops you into a Choose survey dropdown, grouped into Running Surveys and Ended Surveys and ordered by schedule start date, with your latest running survey pre-selected. The same page is one click away from an individual survey too - the View more insights link on the Participation Over Time card, on that survey's report page, opens the digest for that survey directly.
The digest is organized into eight views, all scoped to whichever survey you've selected:
| View | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Breakdown | Participation grouped by up to four nested demographics at once - for example business group → team → location - with each group's rate flagged good, average or low. |
| Momentum | First-hour response, the peak response window, how many dropped off mid-survey, how many never opened it, and a per-channel breakdown. |
| Response funnel | Invited → opened → started → submitted, so you can see exactly where people drop off. |
| Reminder stages | One row per send - the original launch and each reminder that went out - showing the cumulative participation rate after that send. |
| Daily timeline | Day-by-day responses in your account's timezone, split by the channels the survey actually used. |
| Your data | How reachable and complete your data is - how many participants are missing an email, phone number or manager, and how many are inactive. |
| Highlights | Your best and lowest-performing groups, pulled into their own cards, with a one-line auto-generated summary. |
| Recommendations | “What worked” and “do next” cards with concrete suggestions for this survey. |
Breakdown rows respect your account's anonymity threshold - by participant or by submission, whichever your account uses - so a very small group's rate may be hidden to protect anonymity. The page's overall numbers are never suppressed.
The on-screen breakdown shows up to 1,000 rows. If your organization has more, the full report export is never capped, however large your account - ask your Success Manager if you'd like the on-screen limit raised too.
