What changed

  • 134 languages, up from 17: Speak Up supports every language on the platform.
  • Reporter-facing text in each one: the text people read while submitting a report is available in every supported language.

Offering a language to reporters

A language can be offered in Speak Up once it is enabled for your organisation. A Speak Up Admin then decides whether reporters are offered it.

  1. 1
A Super Admin enables the language for your organisation in Organisation Settings, then Languages.
Organisation Settings, then Languages: the languages enabled for your organisation.
  2. 2
A Speak Up Admin adds it to the languages offered to reporters in the Speak Up settings.
Choosing which of your organisation's languages the reporting portal offers.
  3. 3
Reporters can then choose it on the reporting portal, with no login needed.
The reporting portal in Finnish, one of the languages newly available to reporters.
Right-to-left languages

Speak Up does not have a right-to-left layout. Right-to-left languages such as Arabic and Hebrew are displayed with left-to-right alignment.

Also in this release

The Download PDF button on the "Save your report number" dialog and the red delete confirmation in Speak Up settings display correctly as soon as they appear. Chinese (Simplified) and Chinese (Traditional) now select correctly.

New to Speak Up? The July release covers the reporting portal, anonymity, roles and the case workflow, and the September update added a deadline on every case and new analytics.
