Employees must know that it’s okay to share the good, the bad, and the ugly without any repercussions. How merely having policies is not enough.
People leaders need to constantly check on if they have created a safe space and a sense of belonging to actually enforce those policies effectively. Training managers and people leaders to listen to their teams better and empowering them with the ability to give real time solutions instead of sending them to the HR department.
